WagonR Duo

Maruti Udyogaunched its WagonR Duo, which can run on petrol as well as LPG.

Priced at Rs 3.46 lakh and Rs 3.68 lakh for its two variants, the WagonR Duo's running cost will be 33 per cent less than the running cost of a petrol vehicle in the same category.

The car comes equipped with two factory fitted fuel tanks -- a 35 litre petrol tank and a 28 litre LPG tank, which gives the car a combined fuel capacity of 63 litres.

The WagonR Duo will provide customers the benefit of lower running cost, without the safety risk associated with unapproved LPG kits

The LPG tank in the WagonR Duo has a special 'toroidal' design which provides space for luggage also.

Besides the WagonR Duo, Maruti also launched its refurbished, new look WagonR. The new WagonR is ten per cent more fuel efficient compared to the earlier version and has a less 'boxy' appearance. It will also come in five new colours in addition to the three earlier ones.
